Privacy Policy
Idle Golf Range Tycoon, developed by TheBerg. Last updated: 27 September 2026.
This policy explains what happens to information when you play Idle Golf Range Tycoon. If anything here is unclear, contact us at sibbe3d@gmail.com.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller for Idle Golf Range Tycoon is TheBerg, based in Sweden, contactable at sibbe3d@gmail.com. Because we are established in Sweden, our lead supervisory authority is the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY).
Information we collect ourselves
None. The game has no sign-up, no login and no online profile. Your progress — cash, upgrades, buildings and build timers — is written to a file in the game's private storage on your device. We cannot read it, it is never uploaded, and deleting the game deletes it.
If you email us we will have whatever you put in the email, kept only as long as it takes to answer you.
Information collected by advertising partners
The game shows optional rewarded video ads — the ones you choose to watch in exchange for something in the game. These are delivered by Unity LevelPlay (Unity Technologies / ironSource) and the ad networks it mediates. To select and measure ads, those partners may collect:
- Advertising identifier — on Android, the Advertising ID. On iOS the game never asks for tracking permission, so your IDFA is not available to it or to any ad partner.
- IP address, and an approximate location derived from it — typically country or city, never precise or GPS location.
- Device information — model, operating system version, language and region.
- Ad interactions — which ads were shown, watched, skipped or clicked.
That data is collected by those companies under their own policies, not ours. We do not receive it and cannot identify you from it. See Unity's privacy policy and the ironSource privacy policy. Which networks are active can change; Unity publishes the current list.
Purchases
The game currently has no in-app purchases. If they are added later, they will be handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play: we would never see your card number, billing address or any other payment detail, and this page will be updated before that happens.
Why we are allowed to do this
- Legitimate interest — for the basic delivery, frequency capping and fraud prevention that make ads work at all.
- Your device's ad settings — for personalised advertising. The game does not show its own tracking or consent prompt. On iOS it never requests tracking permission, so ads are not personalised using your IDFA. On Android you can stop ad personalisation at any time by deleting your Advertising ID (see below). Either way the game works exactly the same, with less relevant ads.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Because we hold nothing about you ourselves, the fastest routes are:
- Reset or delete your advertising ID — Android: Settings › Google › Ads (on some phones Settings › Privacy › Ads). On iOS there is nothing to do: the game never has access to your IDFA.
- Delete your saved game — uninstall the game, or clear its storage in device settings.
- Contact the ad partner using the links above, for data they hold.
- Email us and we will help where we can.
If you are in California
We do not sell personal information for money. Sharing an advertising identifier with ad networks for personalised advertising may nonetheless count as a "sale" or "share" under the CCPA/CPRA. Opt out by deleting or resetting the advertising identifier in your device settings. Declining changes nothing about what the game does or costs.
Children
The game is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided such information, email us and we will act on it.
Where data goes
Our advertising partners are international and may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States. They are responsible for having a valid transfer mechanism in place, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
How long things are kept
- Your saved game — on your device, until you delete the game.
- Advertising data — by the ad partners, for the periods in their policies.
- Emails to us — until the conversation is finished, then deleted.
Changes to this policy
If the game changes in a way that affects this policy — a new SDK, a feature that collects something — we will update this page and the date at the top, and note material changes in the store listing release notes.
